In collaboration with Sam van Tienhoven, a Human Computer Interaction prototype on the possibilities of using music to control games. In our case it was a simple classic platform game: Super Mario Bros. We were interested in how effective controlling a game with music would be compared to conventional controls. Can it stimulate musical practice and development besides just being fun? Usually games about music are the other way round, a controller is used to make music. In our case we used a real instrument to control a non-musical game.
